BP103 - Make Rich Text Your Business - Using LotusScript
Thanks to all who attended. It was a great session, with a packed room and overflow room, and I appreciated all the positive feedback in the evaluations (and will take to heart the negative feedback as well, of course).
The presentation below is the one I gave, which may differ slightly from the one Lotus has, if they ever post it. The sample databases are here as well. They all work in Notes 6, which is how I showed them in the session, but the Midas parts should work as well in Notes 5. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to write to me at Ben@GeniiSoft.com.
If you were not able to be at Lotusphere, you missed a great show, but you shouldn't have to miss out on the presentation as well. As you may notice, the sample databases are laid out according to common business situations where rich text manipulation could help enhance the value of your business. Let me know if anything in my presentation here is not clear, and I'd be happy to go over it with you. I will also be presenting in Germany in February, and those presentations will be made available as soon as I finish giving them. Also,

Please note that if you don't have the Midas Rich Text LSX and would like to try out the demos, you should

Business Problem: Need for dynamic structured data, such as line items on a purchase order.
Rich text solution: Use the Midas classes or ND6 classes to create and manipulate dynamic table.
Collaboration works! Thanks to all who collaborated on the session db, which was downloaded by over 800 people. Let me know if you have ideas for similar collaborations as the year goes on.
We don't stop at the limits of Notes, we start there.
