Genii Weblog

Civility in critiquing the ideas of others is no vice. Rudeness in defending your own ideas is no virtue.

In the 2009 Lotusphere Sessions db, people can ask questions, make requests or make comments before, during or after a presentation.  But as a speaker, how will you know?  People can also ask questions of an individual, but what if you don't notice.  They may feel snubbed, rejected, and generally unlikely to ever read your blog again or hire you for that big project.

All because you passed up the opportunity to send me your address (privately, so nobody can harvest these) for auto-notification?  But wait, maybe you are worried that I will harvest your address and send you relentless annoying e-mails advertising my products?  Nope, not a chance.  I won't use these e-mails for anything except Lotusphere sessions db reasons (meaning, I might send one e-mail next year asking if I should include you, but otherwise you should only get auto-notifications).  See
this post for details and a chance to add your name.

What are you waiting for?  You may be missing questions right now!
