Visiting Bennington, Vermont these days, one sees a lot of moose, including this "Rainbow Sherbert Zebra Moose".  It is quite a sight.

You might want to check out:

They are eight foot concrete polar bears and most are located on one street. Broadway.

My favorite is Biker Bear

Bennington can have 'em. We did the moose thing in Toronto a few years back:

http://www.city.toronto.on.ca/moose/home_revisit.htm

Them critters wuz EVERYWHERE, blocking the sidewalks, crowding people out of the public squares and sucking the dignity out of the one or two remaining historic buildings in a city that doesn't believe in history. Oh, and it seemed to somebody to be great sport to put a moose or two under any overhang likely to be large enough to give a body shelter from a sudden downpour. Fun is fun (and fundraising is fundraising) but the display went on long enough to really make pedestrian life miserable.

That said, there were two brilliant paint jobs -- one in the style of a cigar-store Indian, and a very nice petroglyphic treatment of a "female" (antlers not installed). Almost made up for the silly stuff. Almost.
