My pirate name is:
Mad Dog Vane
Part crazy, part mangy, all rabid, you're the pirate all the others fear might just snap soon. You tend to blend into the background occaisionally, but that's okay, because it's much easier to sneak up on people and disembowel them that way. Arr!

I might have, but I kinda gave up on the pirate thing. Canada's one-dollar coin has been nicknamed the "loonie" almost since its release because of the loon on the obverse. When the two-dollar coin was released, the only reasonable nickname would have been the "doubloon" (a double loonie). The masses, though, have adopted the ridiculous "twonie" instead. Arrr, she blows.

LOL. I spend a whole lot less time in Canada these days (my parents live in Nova Scotia about half the year, but I don't see them there), and I miss this sort of story. Thanks for sharing.
