The Sessions db now useful even for those who didn't go to Lotusphere

If you have been replicating the Lotusphere Sessions database, don't stop just yet.  On every slide, I have provided links to the Lotusphere On-Line presentations (requires a password), but I am also adding links to all the sessions that get posted by their speakers, which are all up to date, and are definitely free for anybody, as well as sample databases and other incidentals.  I just started today, but already there are quite a links available.  If you didn't make it to Lotusphere, here is a chance to get those slides anyway.

And don't forget to post any questions in the session database as well, as both you and the speakers still have access.

To see which sessions have direct links to slides outside of Lotusphere On-Line, look for the blue arrow in the views.  The sessions with a blue arrow have those additional links when you open up the session.  Keep watching, as I expect to have many more over the next few days.

Hey, great! But for those of us who just snarfed the database to use once in standalone mode to manage our own calendar (I printed to list view as a walk-around aid), how about a link to a how-to for hooking it up to replicate? I didn't realize this could be a dynamic resource, it was a godsend just as it was.

Charles - It is pretty simple. Just click on the button (you can see most of it in the photo above) that says "Update session database from shared replica" and it will replicate down all changes to both design and sessions. If you have any trouble with replica conflicts after you changes sessions yourself, now that you are done planning, you can download a new copy and replicate that. - Ben

Free Utility to download Lotusphere 2008 PDFs

In the same spirit...I created a Notes application allows the user to select one or all of the session numbers from Lotusphere 2008, and automatically download the corresponding presentation PDF files from the Lotusphere Online website. Being a Lotusphere junkie, I wanted to get the presentations for all the sessions that I missed, as well as for the ones that I attended. So, I wrote this application so I wouldn't have to download each presentation individually.
