Limit:

Tweet: 'Maximum size of a text list? 60K bytes'

Additional notes:

In a tweet, the Turtle (yes @the_turtle) mentioned the maximum size of a text list. He claimed it was less than an exabyte, which is true, but I decided to be more specific. In the Lotus C API for Notes/Domino, under the ListAllocate function, it shows the maximum as 60KB. I have yet to verify this, although I might one of these days. Please note that this is bytes, not characters, as the characters are stored in LMBCS, which can be as many as 4 bytes per character, although most often are one character long.
