Cleveland, Ohio, 09/16/2004 -- Genii Software is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the @Midas Formulas 3.40. Joining the acclaimed Midas Rich Text LSX and introduced simultaneously with the Midas Rich Text C++ API 3.40 for C++, the new formula language product extends the reach of the Midas Rich Text family of products to new languages and new audiences.

The @Midas Formulas offer rich text programmability and HTML generation to the Notes/Domino formula language. Even today, the formula language is used throughout Notes/Domino, often in places where LotusScript and Java just don't make sense. Now, the simple but powerful rich text methods used in the Midas Rich Text LSX for the past seven years has been exposed to formula language, and the ramifications are surprising. Whether you are a power user or a hard core programmer, having the ability to export graphics, generate HTML, sort tables, access doclinks, control computed text and read rich text tables with @DbLookups adds a whole new dimension to Notes programming. The powerful functions exposed can be used in a wide variety of ways, from smart icons to agents to hide-when formulas to checkbox formulas. Perfect for bundling with the Midas Rich Text LSX to ensure your reach throughout the Notes client and Domino server.

@Midas Formulas is available now for all Windows client and server platforms for Notes/Domino 5.x and 6.x/6.5x, but will be made available shortly on additional operating systems, including especially Linux and AIX. We are evaluating the feasibility of offering a Mac version.

Please visit our @Midas Formulas page to find out more about pricing and customer benefits. A fully functional evaluation license is available for free by filling out our on-line evaluation form.

The Midas Rich Text C++ API and @Midas Formulas are solely owned and sold by Genii Software Ltd.
