Spell checking from a web editor

The subject of spell checking came up in discussion today.  Spell checking is one of the most popular features of web editing, along with pasting from word, importing local images and creating tables.  It should be this easy, and of course it is with CoexEdit (and FCKeditor).  Now, you can't say you didn't know.

Does ieSpell work in Firefox? Are there any that do? An AJAX spellcheck implementation maybe? hmmm...

Actually, FCKeditor supports two different spell checkers. The first is ieSpell (which does not work in Firefox or anywhere but Internet Explorer). The other spell checker is "SpellerPages", which is a customized version of the GNU ASPELL open source product, and seems to use PHP. I have not used it, but customers have, it is is free and cross-browser/cross-platform. I am hoping to set it up to work on GeniiSoft.com shortly so people can see for themselves.
