One of the must frustrating parts of the mail fidelity problem is the glacial speed with which IBM is addressing specific problems. I guess you could commend IBM for not going backward the way Microsoft has been, but that seems faint praise indeed.
An advantage that we have with iFidelity 3.0 is that it is not tied to a particular version of Notes/Domino. The example I will show here is shown in Version 7, but is equally a problem in Notes 8 and Notes 8.5. Of the several data loss and corruption issues I show in this series and have blogged about elsewhere, virtually all were present as issues in Notes 5, and are still present as the same issues in Notes 8.5. That is a LONG TIME to wait. A few fixes have appeared, including the nested list issue shown in Notes 8 in #2 of this series, which has been around since R5, but was finally mostly fixed in Notes 8.5. I guess perhaps in Notes 9 or 10, we might even see some fixes for the data loss and corruption issues I show here... with a bit of luck and pressure.
