Inadequate warning?

Warnings are wonderful things, but at times, they are inadequate, whether because they don't give you time to react, they don't give you a way to react, or they warn about too little.  One of my favorite recent warnings is shown below as I test my rendering goals on a two versions of that same table, one nested inside a single cell table bit otherwise unchanged.  
 
Now, ask yourself, doesn't the sign above pretty much describe the process below (especially the second table)?  Too little, too late.
