If it is time to migrate or archive legacy Notes/Domino email, don't forget the calendaring and scheduling pieces. Whether you are following archival requirements for regulatory compliance, or just want to be sure you have the details to CYA if somebody challenges you, a calendar event should be preserved.
But is it? Have you tested how your migration handles even something as basic as attachments, not to mention images, doclinks, tables, etc.?
While you ponder that, take a few minutes (about three) and watch how CoexLinks Migrate handles the issue. Then, even if you've already made a migration decision, you can talk about how to cover your collective butts, either by switching to CoexLinks Migrate or by using it to supplement your chosen solution. As I mention in the video, CoexLinks Migrate is usually used in batch mode to export an entire database, but in Version 4.10 we have included an export filter to allow selected documents to be exported to ICS or EML format using the regular File - Export logic ion Notes.
If you don't have even 3 minutes to spare, just ask yourself which of the migrated Outlook events below is likely to be more useful. Or request an evaluation license and try for yourself.
