Limit:
Approx: 950 names
Additional notes:
Approx: 950 names
(ACL size is limited to 32767 bytes)
Comments about limit:
To get around this limitation, would one just enter groups into the ACL instead of individual names (e.g. have 100 groups with each group having 50 individuals in it = 5,000 individuals)?

Jason - I'm not sure whether that would work or not. It might expand them. I'll see i I can find out.

I used to be able to send an email to a large distribution list (using Notes 8.5.1), but once I upgraded to Notes 8.5.3, I was no longer able to send a note to a single distribution. I receive an error stating that I've exceeded the limit and to contact my system admin. Users who have not upgraded to Notes 8.5.3 are able to send to the distribution list, but those who have upgraded are not. Their Notes crashes or they receive the same error as I do when they try to send to the list of names. The "upgrade" has forced me to create 8 distribution lists to send communications to a single population. This is very inefficient. I can provide the exact list of names in the list to someone who would be able to research the problem. The Help Desk suggested I pose this question on the Forum. Thanks for your help.
